Release notes

Objectiv ships on macOS, Windows, and Linux from the objectiv monorepo. Promoted installers will be listed on the download page; until then, build from source and track changes in git.

October 2026 — Site & platform

• Marketing site aligned with VS Code–style IA: feature areas, learn guides, FAQ, release notes, resources.
• License service on license.project-objectiv.com; Enterprise JWT activate/refresh documented.
• Marketplace catalog v2 with listing fields (about, howToAccess, screenshots).
• Community vs Enterprise edition gating (coding agent in Community; comms licensed).

Shell (desktop)

• Multi-root workspace, terminal pop-out, Monaco editor, integrated browser.
• Native marketplace install under ~/.objectiv/apps/.
• Tauri 2 bundles: .dmg, .msi, .deb, AppImage (from local builds).

Objective agent

• Coding harness with approve-before-apply, local terminal/Git tools.
• Ollama and OpenAI-compatible BYOK in settings.
• Enterprise: on-behalf chat/mail/meetings (rolling out per provider).
